On the way I approach life

I believe life is meant to be fully engaged, not passively observed. I’m naturally competitive — not because I need to beat others, but because I’m driven by growth. I enjoy the process of learning, improving, refining skills, and pushing myself to become better over time. Progress matters to me more than perfection, and I respect people who are willing to put in the work when no one is watching.

I also believe success is more meaningful when it’s shared. I genuinely enjoy seeing other people win, grow, and reach their potential. Hard work, discipline, and consistency deserve respect, and I value relationships with people who pursue excellence while helping others do the same.

On what success actually is

Real success is having the freedom to spend time with the people you care about and doing the things that genuinely bring you fulfillment. Success isn’t permanent — it requires continual effort and intentionality. You can’t rely on past achievements forever, and no single accomplishment guarantees lasting fulfillment.

Success can’t exist in only one area. The goal isn’t perfection in every category, but alignment between how you spend your time and what matters most to you.

On balance

Balance is created intentionally, not accidentally. I protect it by being disciplined with my calendar and clear about my priorities. My evenings are dedicated to my family and coaching soccer.

I don’t have a specific retirement date or an endpoint in mind where I plan to completely step away. Instead, I focus on building a life where work, personal interests, and family can coexist meaningfully. Success isn’t about eventually stopping life to enjoy it later — it’s about creating a lifestyle I enjoy living now.

On the people I keep close

I value genuine people — people who are comfortable being who they are and don’t feel the need to put on a front or constantly prove something. I respect individuals who are self-aware enough to recognize their own flaws, take accountability, and actively work toward improvement.

I appreciate directness, honesty, and people whose actions align with their words. Trust is built through consistency and authenticity. Everyone faces setbacks, but constantly blaming others prevents growth. I respect people who can own their mistakes, learn, and move forward with maturity.
